[OUR STORY]

I am naught but a humble, single mother of twin boys. I'm 30 years old with a small house in a tiny village in the country, which (when not chasing toddlers around) I am fully invested in DIYing to death.

On January 26, 2013, my (then) husband and I welcomed the Stinky Twinkies at 8:49 and 8:51am.

Dexter (baby A) was 7 lbs. 8 ounces and 20 inches long, healthy and beautiful.

Elijah (baby B) was 6 lbs. 7 ounces, and 19.25 inches long, every bit as healthy and beautiful as his slightly older brother.

It's a crazy, messy, chaotic, joyous, heartbreaking, completely full life we lead, and in the midst of it, hopefully I find some downtime to do what I do best and love most: write. Here I'll share tried-and-true recipes, DIY projects, stories and photos of the Terrible Twosome, my own musings, ventings, rantings and bitchings, and a variety of other blog fodder.

I'm no internet celebrity. I'm just another mom, another woman, trying to navigate the road of life in general, reaching out to others with words. It's easy to craft an alternate personality on the internet, but my vow to readers: friends, family, strangers, whoever, is that all you'll ever get is ME. The mom, the sister, the daughter, the friend... the cook, the klutz, the screw-up, the musician, the writer, the artist, the cat slave.

I'm just an average gal on the most extraordinary journey: I'm bringing up babies.
